Remarks: Beautiful Akoda style Kabuto with a stunning mutli-staged curved tehen. This piece features the original kazuno or deer horn kamon of the Konda Clan. Period egawa on the fukegaeshi is also original to this piece. The front plate of the hachi is made of silver and certainly is a rare item of craftsmanship.This item was purchased from a family collection in Japan.
