A rare original Tengu Men. This piece feature a beautiful rainbow colored yodarekake. Myochin Menpo of this type are very rare. At some point later in the Edo period the interior lacquer was restored. There is a small area of excess lacquer under the bottom lip. The signature has faded some with wear due to its age. This was purchased from a private collection in Japan.
This Menpo is quite impressive and an excellent example of a Myochin smith's work. This rare Menpo includes shipping, handling and insurance to anywhere in the world.
