Edo Period (17th-18th century)
The simple zunari [head-shaped] bowl applied with fur, the front edge ending in a peak [mabizashi] lacquered black. The fukigaeshi [turnbacks] and sweeping five-lame black-lacquered neck guard [hineno-jikoro] in black lacquer with kon-ito odoshi [blue silk lacing] in sugake [spaced lacing] style.
